I Can Still Hear My Kids : The House of Marley Stir it Up Over Ear Headphone - Freedom Collection - Three-Button Apple Mic (EM-FH013-HA)
I purchased these headphones to drown out the incessant whines and complaints from my kids, but they don't work. I can still hear them groaning about not having a car, too much algebra homework, no more raisins in the cereal, the whole works.
I thought a house with Bob Marley in it touting a collection entitled Freedom would bring me the peace and sanctuary I deserve after putting up with these kids for the past 16 years. All it did was give them more license to holler louder at me and call me names like Earmuff Mom and Bee Head. They didn't come in any other fashionable colors, I tell them. And as far as the size is concerned, you can't make a bigger pair to block these ungrateful, wretched nipple-yankers from squawkin' their every annoyance and imagined need at me every time I turn around.
If I'd a known that these were gonna be the unruly type of offspring I would get when I banged their father, I would have skipped that third martini, caught a cab home, and watched a couple episodes of My Three Sons to get my fix.
But whattayagonna do?
So I'll just keep 'em, turn the volume up to Stir it Up, and hold on for another few years until it's over. I hope I die before I'm a grandparent. I have a feeling my kids' kids will be even worse.
